Biggest waves, splendid holiday! Rural Escape @ friends, a small holiday park with 5 holiday accommodations, is situated close to the beach with the biggest waves of the world. Casinha Margarida (Daisy White) is one of two beautiful lodges close to Nazaré, the extreme surf hot spot. Each house has its own privacy, still you share a common swimming pool and a large terrace with BBQ.
Each house is approx 40m2 and consists of a living room with open kitchen and veranda doors to your private terrace, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. Decorated in luxury style and complete with dishwasher, fridge, microwave, oven, etc. The accommodation is for max 5 persons.
The interior of Casinha Margarida
The living room with open kitchen is cosy. The atmosphere of wood, wood, wood and daisy white colours provides directly a good holiday feeling. The veranda doors are opening to your private terrace. The coach in the living can be used as bed as well. The kitchen has all main appliances like dishwasher, fridge, oven, etc.. You have a small bathroom. One bedroom has a double bed and large wardrobe. The other has a bunk bed for 3 persons.
Your private terrace and garden
You have a small private garden and shaded terrace. Your view is towards the swimming pool and valley. It looks like Glamping – glamorous camping

The shared terrace and swimming pool
Casinha Margarida (White Daisy) and Casinha Alfazema (Lavender) are sharing a large swimming pool of 5×10 meter. Guaranteed success for a lot of pleasure and cooling downs. The terrace next to the pool offer nice sun beds and sufficient shade. The common terrace has a typical Portuguese BBQ and tables to enjoy your grilled meals.
Wifi and parking
You have your own private parking close the entrance. A safe spot to park you rental car.
Internet access is available free of charge. Surf to “Nazaré – big wave” and visit Nazaré later onwards. You can also watch Portugese soaps or the extended news on portugese TV.

The appropriate holiday period
Casinha Margarida, similar as Casinha Alfazema, can be used for lovely holidays in the summer, the spring, autumn and even in the winter time. The house is fully isolated and has an electric heating for colder periods. Be surprised by the nice climate and culture!

A beautiful combination. Discover the stories of the extreme sports, the world record of surfing waves of almost 25 meter, feel the atmosphere in Nazaré and visit the exposition. At the north beach of Nazaré, these biggest waves arrive a few times per year. Caused by a canyon just in front of the beach. Get up to the cape of Nazare and imagine yourselves out there on these waves. Or better, take a look at the local exposition!
