As soon as you start traveling, your holiday starts to Casa Cantiga holiday accommodations. Accommodations for families, friends, couples or singles. Situated in mid Portugal with a lovely climate. In the region Estramadura, close to the sea at the beautiful coast line between Coimbra and Lisbon.

Car rental or own car
If you want to travel with your own car you can take the “route national” and avoid toll roads. Beautiful sightseeing but it takes a lot of time. The highway in Portugal brings you almost to the door of our holiday accommodations. In Portugal you have to be aware of “elektronic toll”.

Airline flights
Next to Porto and Faro, Lisbon became also a “low cost” destination. It is the best airport to use if you come to Casa Cantiga family holiday Portugal accommodations. You can use airlines like Ryanair, Easyjet, Transavia next to KLM, Britisch airways etc.
If you travel with small kids, it can be interesting to bring your own childseat. Check your airline conditions. Rental is often much more expensive. We also have available for free a number of child seats (from 3 years) as well as buggies. Let us know at your reservation if you want to make use of it.
For the high season our arrival day is Saterday. Not all airline companies fly on Saterdays. In that case we advise you to spent one or more nights in Lisbon or Porto. If you need any support in finding the right airline ticket or hotel in Lisbon, we are able to give advise.
